I have always been an avid reader. To enhance my habit, I decided to join BookBub to experience new authors. A lot of the books were free on my kindle, and I found some outstanding and talented authors. One thing that really bothers me is to start reading and catch many typos and bad grammar within the first chapter! The mistakes spoil the journey to where the author wants to take you. Books are magical, they will take you anywhere you want to go, they will take you to the past or future, aliens, doomsday, romance, fantasy or even to another planet.

Previously I worked for a newspaper where I designed ads and proofread. I then went on to a signage company with a similar role. It is of the utmost importance that everything is correct, including checking for typos, extra words, forgotten commas, etc.

Proofreading is the last step before publishing, and everything should be perfect! That’s where I come in. I am a fast reader and triple check my work. I have been helping to proofread best-selling author, Anna Hackett for the last five years. I also hold a Proofread Anywhere Certificate.
